WILLARD - Upper Sandusky and Carey traveled to Willard for a tri-match. Upper Sandusky swept the event.
The Rams opened with a 25-19, 25-19 win over Willard. Taylor Graboski slammed 14 kills in the match, Jessi Holly had seven and Molly Owens six. Allison Snyder set up 26 assists. Holly added nine digs, Jenna Holly picked up eight and Graboski had seven.
The Rams (17-3) then topped Carey 25-21, 25-15. Jessi Holly led with 10 kills, Graboski had eight and Owens six. Snyder handed out 30 more assists. Kalene Johnson added five kills, five aces and five digs.
In the day's other match, Willard got past Carey 25-13, 25-20. On the day for Carey (12-7), Hannah Tong led with 18 kills and five blocks. Shelby Kin chipped in 10 kills and three blocks.
Taylor Fletcher led the defense with 10 digs. Adrienne Hackworth and Logan Johnson each picked up nine. Sydney Wentling had 30 assists and three blocks.
Blue Jackets down Devils
NEW RIEGEL - Taylor Arbogast slammed 16 kills and Lauren Ladd lined 10 as New Riegel dispatched Arlington in three games, 25-18, 25-15, 25-10.
The Blue Jackets improved to 19-1.
Kara Scherger chipped in eight kills for New Riegel and Alexis Kieffer added three. Cassandra Acree dished out 28 assists.
Tigers best Big Red
ATTICA - The Big Red wasn't big enough Saturday to cause Seneca East much problems. The Tigers clawed past Plymouth 25-14, 25-18, 25-14.
Kristen Bowerman paced Seneca East (6-13) with 16 kills and a block. Cameil Ruffing added seven kills, while also picking up an ace and a block. Emily Depinet chipped in six kills and a pair of aces.
Rachel Bauman had an all-around good day for Seneca East, picking up five kills, eight assists and three aces. Sam Miller dished out 14 assists.
