Prep Soccer Roundup: Brady helps TC boot Ross

Mike Brady scored the game's lone goal Saturday as Columbian clipped Fremont Ross 1-0.

Brady converted a pass from Nathaniel Gilmer into a score in the 46th minute for the Tornadoes (6-8).

Josh Gibson added eight saves.

The Little Giants (1-9) got 12 saves from Ben Morroney.

Columbian out-shot Ross 23-5.

Nagahama, Emerick fuel Rams

UPPER SANDUSKY - Shin Nagahama and Taylor Emerick each scored twice Saturday in Upper Sandusky's 7-1 rout of Ontario.

Nagahama opened the scoring in the game's second minute off the first of two Luke Miller assists, and added a goal in the second half on a penalty kick.

Emerick also had a goal in each half, with the first putting the Rams (11-4) up 3-1 with 16:58 left in the first period, and the second with 6:34 to play closing out the scoring. He also had an assist.

Alec McMillan, Autin Pirc and Brandon Miller also each scored.

Brandon Miller and Sam Duress both added assists. William Amert tallied five saves and Clay Musgrave had two.

Ontario's lone goal came from Christian Meister in the first half, which cut the deficit to 2-1.

Jake Hairston had nine saves for the Warriors (0-9-1).
