Maintain the tradition

October 9, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

The football field. The marching band. Playground equipment. School security equipment. The gym floor. School sidewalks. Food service equipment. What do these things have in common? They are all funded through Tiffin City Schools' permanent improvement levy, which was first approved way back in 1977 and has been renewed six times since.

Renewal of the levy this November will allow Tiffin City Schools to continue permanent improvement projects that protect our community's investment in our schools. And it will not change existing millage or tax rates. These PI funds can not be used for salaries, benefits or operational costs.

Please join me, and generations of Tiffinites from 1977 to today, when we support this important tradition of permanent improvement levy renewal Nov. 6.

Bernard Hohman,

Tiffin
