Charles A. "Red" Morfier Jr., 89, of Bellevue, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Extended Family Care, Bellevue.
He was born Feb. 8, 1923, in Bellevue, to Charles Allen Sr. and Gertrude Elizabeth (Gover) Morfier. He married Edith (Monarchi) Oct. 31, 1953 and she survives in Bellevue.
He also is survived by a daughter, Becky (Duane "Chip") Stahl of Holland; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Morfier of Bellevue; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by his son, Chuck Morfier III in 2007; and a sister, Charlene (Joe) Morris in 2012.
Visitation is noon until his funeral begins at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. An Elks memorial service will be at 3 p.m.
