Emma Louise Simpson, 92, of Fort Seneca, died at 3:21 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Ruffing Family Care Center in Tiffin.
Louise was born at the home of her grandparents on Dec. 26, 1919, to the late Russell H. and Gladys (Dumond) Simpson and has lived her entire life in Fort Seneca.
Other survivors include her second cousins, David Dumond of Worthington, Mark Dumond of Upper Arlington and Douglas Dumond of Cincinnati.
Louise worked at General Electric for 33 years and was a member of the Fort Seneca United Church of Christ where she served as treasurer for 24 years. She was a 1937 graduate of the Old Fort High School and the Toledo Nursing School for 1 year. She was a member of the Kum Join Us Club of the Federated Farm Women, past president of the Seneca County Federations of Farm Women's Club and the National Home, Daughters of America No. 44 council.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin with the Rev. Becky Jones officiating.
Visitation for family and friends also will be Thursday, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services Thursday, at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Seneca United Church of Christ.
