FREMONT - Trumpeter Charles Saenz and pianist Solungga Fang-Tzu Liu are to perform at 4 p.m. Sunday in the recital hall in Building D at Terra State Community College, Fremont.
The pair is to present a collaborative recital as part of the next edition of Terra State's Music on Sunday series.
Admission is free.

Saenz and Liu have developed a reputation as performers who are equally versed in a variety of musical idioms and, as educators, have presented at national and international events.
This summer, Saenz was the featured artist at the Fifth International Trumpet Festival of China and also presented recitals in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. He is an associate professor of trumpet and coordinator of brass and percussion at Bowling Green State University.
Liu has enjoyed an active career as a soloist and collaborator in venues across three continents. A dedicated performer of new music, Liu has performed and recorded music by many modern composers, including two CDs of Steve Reich's major works with "Alarm Will Sound" and a recording of Robert Morris'
"Meandering River" by Albany Records.
Her 2012 performances include recital tours in eight U.S. states as well as concerts and master classes in Romania, where she was one of the featured guest artists at the 2012 Romanian-American Music Festival. Liu is an assistant professor of piano at BGSU.
