'Harvest Party' planned
FOSTORIA - Geary Family YMCA in Fostoria is to have its Fall Family Harvest Party 6-9 p.m. Friday at the outdoor center on SR 18, east of Fostoria. Festivities include a campfire, hayrides, walks in the woods and food.

Harry's Haunted Trail
ready to resume the frights
Weather permitting, Harry's Haunted Trail is to be open 8 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday at Tiffin University's Paradiso Athletic Complex, 2375 CR 26.
This Halloween attraction is for those 11 and older. Admission is $6 at the gate and $5 pre-sale by emailing hillnj@tiffin.edu.
Proceeds are to benefit the TU track and field program and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
'Anne Frank' back at The Ritz
The Ritz Players are to give two more performances of "The Diary of Anne Frank" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday on the main stage at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St.

Living history festival
returns to woods near Attica
ATTICA The Oak Ridge Festival is returning Saturday and Sunday to the wooded grounds at 15498 E. TR 104, Attica.
The rain-or-shine festival includes a living history encampment, art and craft demonstrations, more than 175 vendors, entertainment, old-time base ball games, horseshoe pitching, children's activities, food and antique farm machinery.

FINDLAY - Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation is conducting special activities for Halloween. Children of all ages can ride the Pumpkin Train 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 11600 CR 99, Findlay.
Stop at the pumpkin patch, pick out a pumpkin and have it carried back to the station by train.
The cost is $2 for adults and $1 for children age 12 and younger.
The Haunted Engine House is to be open 7 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday and 7-10 p.m. Sunday for those age 13 and older. The cost is $7.

Youth singers sought
for Seneca East talent show
ATTICA Seneca East High School is planning its first "So You Think You Can Sing" vocal talent competition for students.
Tryouts are 6 p.m. Nov. 10 at the school. Admission is $3 at the door. The finals are to take place at the school Nov. 17 when the constestants are narrowed to 11 in each category. Admission for the finals is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
The contest is open to any middle school or high school student in north central Ohio. Only 18 slots are available in each category.
