Sandusky County Park District plans moonlight canoeing Oct. 28-30 for adults.
Participants should meet at 6 p.m. at the park office, 1970 Countryside Place, Fremont.

Hancock County
The fall sky is the topic of a Millstream Astronomy Club program at 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at Riverbend Recreation Area, shelter 5.
The club is to show a DVD about the fall sky, followed by a question-and-answer session.
"Fairy Fun," a Hands-On Nature program, is planned for 1-4 p.m. Oct. 28 at Oakwoods Nature Preserve Discovery Center.
Enjoy children's activities, listen to fairy tales, search for fairy houses on a short hike, and then return to the center to build a fairy house. The hike leaves at 2 p.m.
A fall foliage hike is planned for 1 p.m. Oct. 31 at Litzenberg Memorial Woods. Meet at the gate house to enjoy the fall colors while discovering autumn plants that have not been recorded before.
Help expand the park district's flora and fauna accumulative lists through these continued monitoring hikes. The hike is for adults.
