Loren Joseph "Joe" Roush, 64, of Melmore, passed away Friday evening, Oct. 19, 2012, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born June 25, 1948, in Tiffin, to Joseph Leroy and Cora J. (Biddle) Roush. He married Pam A. Marquardt Sept. 4, 1971.
Survivors include his wife, Pam, of 40 years; son, Howard Roush of Tiffin; daughter, Theresa (Shawn) Creeger of Carey; three brothers, Mark Lewis Roush of Euclid, Lee Howard Roush of Delaware, Ohio, and Lynn James Roush of Montgomeryville, Md.; and four grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher and Autumn Creeger, and Tyler Roush.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cathy Jo Bolenbaugh.
Mr. Roush was a member of Melmore United Methodist Church and retired from Webster Industries, working in the chain room and foundry for more than 35 years. He enjoyed camping at Walnut Grove Campgrounds and collecting vintage toy guns. He will be remembered as a family man.
His service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, with the Rev. Jane-Ann Clarke officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the funeral home and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Melmore United Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
