As we all know, the November elections are only a few days away and what our country will be like for the next four years and beyond will depend on how people vote. As I drive around town, I see Democratic signs and Republican signs wanting people to vote for certain political party candidates. This is as it should be because this is a free country where people can vote for whomever they want.
The only thing about this election which makes it different is the fact our country and our way of life all depends on its outcome. If President Barack Obama gets re-elected, our country as we know it will cease to exist. The Democratic Party is no longer the party of the people. It is a big-government party that wants to control our lives from the cradle to the grave. Is this really and truly what we want from our nation? I sure hope not.
I really don't believe Obama knows how to tell the truth. He has lied to the American people ever since he stepped into the political arena. He not only lies, but is trying everything in his power to divide this country. He has told the blacks that all white people hate them, that women are hated by the Republican Party and he has people believing the old hate the young and vice versa. He has friend against friend and family against family. Before he became president and started with all this rhetoric, we were a good country and had made many strides in bringing people together. As I say, that was before he became president.
Not only has he lied to the American people, but he has tried to turn us into a welfare nation. He knows, as every human being knows, people like receiving free things, and Obama is taking full advantage of this characteristic by using all the money he can muster from the U.S. taxpayers for this end. He is using the poor and underprivileged to bring our country to its knees. Others who will vote for him include colleges that receive subsidies from the government. I believe I am correct when I say there are only two colleges in the United States that do not receive subsidies from the government. There are so many people and institutions on the dole right now that people will probably riot in the streets like Greece if we try to cut back on how much they all receive. People who actually need assistance should receive it, but the ones who take it just because they can should be cut off.
I also want you to take a look at the people in Hollywood who idolize Obama and say he can do no wrong. These people think they are beyond reproach because of who they are. Really, I guess they are, because our young people idolize them, even though they are supporting a man who will destroy this country. If this country fails, they have means to go anywhere they please.
Obama has not done one ounce of good since taking office. Everything he touches, he destroys. He and his family spent nearly $1.4 billion dollars last year vacationing and partying. He won't slow his own spending, but he's quite willing to cut our military.
When his party had control of the House, Senate and presidency, he never passed a budget. What has he accomplished that is worth four more years?
We are hurting as a nation, but he could care less. If you think our country is in bad shape now, re-elect Obama and see what you end up with ... most likely a dictator.
