CLYDE - At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, The General Guinness Band is to perform at Clyde High School, 1015 Race St., Clyde.

During its cabaret-style performance, the band combines pub music, ballads and sea songs with traditional fiddle tunes and Irish step dancing. Humor is incorporated into many of the songs.

This program includes flutes and whistles by Larry Dulin; vocal solos by James O'Shea; fiddles by Sheree Green and Carol Metheny; dance by Judy Davis; guitar by Steve Steele; bodran by Tom Davis; vocal harmonies; and bits of history and culture.
