City leaf collection to begin Monday

Tiffin's leaf collection is to begin on Monday.

Citizens are to put their leaves in leaf bags and place the bags at the curb in front of their residence by 7 a.m. for pick up.

The city leaf bags are available at most local grocery and convenience stores.

The weekly leaf pick-up schedule is as follows:

Monday - The area east of Washington Street and north of Market Street, the northeast quadrant of the city.

Tuesday - The area west of Washington Street and south of Market Street, the northwest quadrant of the city.

Wednesday - The area west of Washington Street and south of Market Street, the southwest quadrant of the city.

Thursday - The area east of Washington Street and south of Market Street, the south east quadrant of the city.

Fridays are to be used for going back to pick up neighborhood that were missed earlier in the week.

Residents may also take their leaf bags to the water pollution control center on North Water Street, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
