Tiffin reports

A possible attempted break-in was reported Wednesday afternoon at Fort Ball RV & Auto Sales, 582 N. Sandusky St.

A 100-block South Sandusky Street man reported Wednesday afternoon he had been scammed out of $1,800 on the Internet.

A person flagged down an officer Wednesday afternoon near the railroad crossing on North Monroe Street to report vandalism.

A person went to the station Wednesday evening to report possible child endangerment.

A 200-block North Washington Street woman reported damage to her vehicle Wednesday night.

A first-block Coe Street woman reported Wednesday night her 15-year-old son assaulted her.

A 600-block South Sandusky Street woman requested to speak to an officer Wednesday night about a babysitter spanking her child.

A caller from Kroger, 790 W. Market St., reported early Thursday morning a couple of customers were opening cosmetic products, trying them and putting them back.

A caller from North Central Academy, 928 W. Market St., reported Thursday morning a student was threatening to kill another student. The staff had the student isolated.

County reports

Dylan J. Warnick, 22, of Tiffin, was charged with criminal damaging in relation to an incident Oct. 10.

A 100-block Eighth Avenue man requested a deputy Wednesday afternoon in reference to a person who cut down his tree.

A caller reported early Thursday morning a four-wheeler was sitting by a ditch in the 10,000 block of East US 224.

A 9000-block East US 224 man reported Thursday morning someone took his truck during the night.

A 100-block North TR 165 person went to the station Thursday morning to report fraudulent charges.

Fostoria reports

A 700-block Westhaven Drive woman reported Wednesday evening someone had tried to break into her residence within the last few days.

Sandai A. Harris, 38, of Michigan, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated early Thursday morning. He also was cited with a turn signal violation.

A 1500-block North Countyline Street caller reported Thursday morning a man with a BB gun was riding around on a scooter attempting to shoot a dog. The dog was released to the Wood County Sheriff's Office.

A caller from Wagner Lincoln Mercury Inc., 1600 N. Countyline St., reported Thursday afternoon a bullet hole was found in a vehicle window.

County accident

A two-vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon at West US 224 and SR 53. A person was issued a citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and at least one person was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital. Further details were unavailable.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 78 Shaffer Park Drive for a fire alarm Thursday morning.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to 1270 Van Buren St. Thursday morning for an open burn.

County fire

Green Springs firefighters were called to North Broadway Street Wednesday evening for a fire alarm.

Bascom firefighters were called to West US 224 and SR53 for an accident Thursday afternoon.

McCutchenville firefighters were called to West CR 90 Thursday afternoon for a wood pile fire.
