October 20, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

The men and women of New Riegel Moose would like to say "thank you" to all who helped and donated to the free baked steak dinner for those age 80 and older Oct. 8.

Donors of prizes included Clouse Construction Corp., Tiffin Auto Zone, Tiffin Walmart, Key Bank of Fostoria, New Riegel Elevator, Paul's Market, Beckett's Barber Shop, Gals & Guys Salon, First National Bank, Dawn Nye, Scott Brickner, Cathy Brickner, Adam Faeth Excavating, New Riegel Cafe, Bonnie Hohman, Bubby's, Smith Classic Machine, Gloria Teets, Carol Dell, Daman Alt, Julie Adkins, Judge Michael Kelbley, Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey and RB Hauling, and Roy and Delores Reinhart, Alvada.

Thanks to the above donors, all 68 people who attended were given a door prize and the 16 deliveries and pickups also received complimentary gifts. Twelve women were involved in the preparation and serving of the dinners and two men did the deliveries.

Thanks to all, a successful community service project turned out great.
