Commisioners to consider bond sale

Seneca County commissioners are to consider a resolution providing for the issuance and sale of $346,000 in notes for county building improvements at its meeting at 10 a.m. today at the commissioners' office.

The notes would be sold in anticipation of the issuance of bonds for renovating, remodeling, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving buildings and facilities and improving and equipping sites to house various county offices and functions and other related offices serving county residents.

In other new business, the board is to consider:

An appropriation adjustment of $20,000 within the Maintenance and Repair Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $63,307.93 for the Bascom Construction Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $800 for the Title Administration Fund.

An appropriation adjustment of $500 within the Child Support Enforcement Fund.

An appropriation adjustment of $20,000 within the General Fund.

A fund transfer of $20,000 to be made to the Note Retirement Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $20,000 for Capital Facilities Note Retirement Fund for 2012.

A resolution authorizing an addendum to a management consultant agreement for labor, employment and other areas for Seneca County with Clemans, Nelson and Associates Inc.

A resolution authorizing the commissioners to enter into contract with M&B Asphalt Co. Inc for a Bettsville Street Improvement Project to be paid with Community Development Block Grant fiscal year 2011 funds, and authorizing Benjamin Nutter as president of the board to sign documentation.

A resolution authorizing Nutter to sign the Office of Criminal Justice Grant, Justice Assistance Grant Law Enforcement and submit the application for funding retroactive to Oct. 31.

A resolution providing for the issuance and sale of $34,000 in notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring cardiac monitors/defibrillators and other equipment for use in carrying out functions of the division of emergency medical services.
