A Tiffin man was arrested Monday night in connection to a stabbing over the weekend on Adams Street.
Billy J. Bright, 24, faces charges of felonious assault, criminal damaging and carrying a concealed weapon for allegedly stabbing a man in the head and arm early Saturday morning in the first block of Adams Street.
Tiffin Police Chief Fred Stevens said police had been called to 19 Adams St. for the report of a man who had been stabbed in the head and arm during a fight. The stabbing had allegedly taken place at 15 Adams St. and the victim then ran to 19 Adams St.
Stevens said the victim, who had a laceration behind his left ear and cuts on his left arm, was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital where he was treated and released.
Another man at the scene, Justin Matthews, 26, of Tiffin, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. Stevens said Matthews had a knife, but was not directly involved in the stabbing.
