Celebration concert booked for the troops
FREMONT Terra State Community College is to present "Service, Honor and Dedication A Celebration Concert" at 7 p.m. today at the college in Fremont. The Terra Choral Society and Orchestra, Terra State Jazz Band and high schools from the region are to perform.
Admission is free.
Marching band
to perform at Tiffin U
The Tiffin University Marching Band Showcase is set for 1 p.m. Sunday in the Hemminger Center on the TU campus.
The one-hour concert is to include music from this season's half-time shows.
The band features a variety of songs from the Jackson 5 and Led Zepplin to "Wicked" and "American Idiot."

Student to give recital
The Heidelberg University School of Music has begun a new program.
Three students are to be invited to perform "Senior Honor Recitals."
Lucas Walter of Fostoria, a percussion major, is to be the first student giving an honor recital at 3 p.m. Sunday in Brenneman Music Hall.
The faculty selected Walter based on a junior-level exam and an audition.
Admission is free.
Christmas spirit on tap with Winebrenner show
FINDLAY - The University of Findlay's Concert-Chorale is to present "The Many Moods of Christmas" at 3 p.m. Sunday in Winebrenner Theological Seminary. Micheal Anders conducts the 80-voice choir, accompanied by a 40-piece live orchestra.
"The Many Moods of Christmas" is an album of 18 traditional Christmas carols grouped together into four suites.
Admission to Sunday's concert is free, but seating is limited. Tickets can be reserved by calling (419) 434-5335.
Any remaining tickets are to be available at the door.
Last weekend
for 'Ravenscroft' comedy
FREMONT - The dark comedy, "Ravenscroft," continues at Fremont Community Theatre, 1551 Dickinson St., Fremont. The last three performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
