A man was transported to the hospital after he caught fire while burning brush Thursday morning.
According to reports from the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, the Wood County Sheriff's Office transferred a call from a man in the 6300 block of North US 23 who reported he came upon another man standing alongside the roadway who was on fire. He had gotten the flames out, but an ambulance was requested.
A spokeswoman from the sheriff's office said the man, who had caught fire while burning brush, was transported to Fostoria Community Hospital.
According to reports, Kansas firefighters and Fostoria EMS were dispatched to the call, which was reported at 10:38 a.m.
