Paul L. Reinhart Sr., 71, Berwick, passed away at 8:05 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at his home.
He was born June 2, 1941, in Tiffin, to the late Ludwig "Joe" and Theresa (Nye) Reinhart. He married Sara J. Porter on Aug. 6, 1966, in Frenchtown, and she survives in Berwick.
Also surviving are four children, Paula Dick, Fostoria, Aran Reinhart, Berwick, Christine Reinhart, Fostoria, and Paul (Mark Cline) Reinhart Jr., Berwick; three grandchildren, Raymond Leon Reinhart, Karen Dick and Steven Dick; four sisters, Rosemary Bland, McCutchenville, Tillie Wentz, Medina, Martha Heyman, Tiffin, and Barb Tiell, Tiffin; and a brother, Carl Reinhart, McCutchenville.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Theresa Dick; and two brothers, John and Robert "Chief" Reinhart.
Paul had worked at Hayes-Albion, Tiffin, and the Civilian Conservation Corps, Carey. He was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, and a 1961 graduate of New Riegel High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post No. 888.
Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Hoening Funeral Home 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m.Wednesday at St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown, with Father Tim Kummerer presiding.
Visitation also is from 9-9:45 a.m. at the church, where a Rosary will be prayed at 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery with military honors provided by the New Riegel American Legion.
