‘Messiah’ singers needed

Heidelberg University is to continue its tradition of presenting Handel's oratorio, "Messiah," at 3 p.m. Dec. 9 in the Ritz Theatre. Greg Ramsdell is to direct this year's performance. The University-Community Chorus and Concert Choir are to be joined by students, faculty, staff, spouses, alumni and singers from the surrounding areas. Singers desiring to learn the music and high school students who have consent and cooperation from their choral directors are welcome.

Practices for all singers and instrumentalists are set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 4:15 p.m. Nov. 29 in Brenneman Music Hall. The chorus is to rehearse at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5 at the Ritz Theatre. The final rehearsal is 9 a.m.-noon. Dec. 8 at the Ritz, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin.
