Victorian Christmas coming

Plans have been made for Tiffin's Victorian Christmas Weekend Nov. 30-Dec. 2. The schedule of events follows.

Nov. 30

Open house 1-5 p.m. at Tiffin Glass Museum, 25 S. Washington St. Refreshments, door prizes; (419) 448-0200.

Tree lighting and music, 7 p.m., Courthouse Square, downtown Tiffin. (419) 618-3106.

Dec. 1

Breakfast with St. Nicholas, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Calvert Elementary School Cafeteria, 357 S. Washington St.

No reservations are needed for this all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast with Santa. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. (419) 306-5485.

"Run Like the Dickens" 5K run, 9 a.m., starting at Commission on Aging, 10 Riverside Drive.

This is the 19th year for the event. The cost is $15 in advance or $20 on race day. To register, call (419) 448-5533.

Bake sale and craft show, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Kiwanis Manor, 7 W. Market St.

The sale is to include paintings, pillows, kitchen items, doilies, doll clothes and other items made by the residents.

Serving for the lunch begins at 11 a.m. and includes sandwiches, smoked sausage, chili, chicken noodle soup and desserts. (419) 448-4541.

Walk-Through Live Nativity, 6:30-8 p.m., 182 St. Francis Ave. People will represent the Holy Family with live animals to accompany them.
