Kenneth E. Richardson, 83, of Upper Sandusky, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Upper Sandusky, to Norman and Gladys (Outhwaite) Richardson, both of whom are deceased. He married Norma (Dall) Richardson Jan. 27, 1951, in Upper Sandusky, and she survives.
He is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Allen) Boes and Jodi (Terry) Johnson of Upper Sandusky and Kendall Richardson of Findlay; eight granddaughters; and a brother, Byron (Thelma) Richardson of Upper Sandusky.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era in the Second Armored Division.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the VFW Post 2842 Honor Guard. There is to be a flag presentation and a rifle salute by Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard.
Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, with the family present 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Wyandot County Historical Society, VFW 2842 Military Room Endowment Fund, Wyandot County Home Health Agency, John Stewart Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.
