A daughter, Aviana Marnise Rice, was born Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, to Ann (Lofton) and Derell Rice of Cincinnati. Aviana weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 21 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Molly and Merving Lofton Jr. of Tiffin. Paternal grandmother is the late Marnise Rice, formerly of Dayton. Paternal great-grandparents are Mervin Lofton Sr. of Tiffin and Louise Sheldon of Florida.
