A woman went to the station Thursday afternoon to report her 7-year-old son had been assaulted by an adult Wednesday night.
A break-in was reported Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of East Tiffin Street. Personal checks and possibly some jewelry were taken.
An 800-block East Fremont Street woman reported Friday afternoon a man assaulted her.
A caller from Tri-County Beverage Center, 311 W. Lytle St., reported a counterfeit $5 bill Friday afternoon.
Tiffin accident
A driver left the scene of an accident on foot after his vehicle struck another vehicle in the 200 block of Miami Street Thursday night. He climbed a fence and police were unable to locate the man.
County accident
A person was cited with improper backing following a non-injury accident involving a school bus Friday morning at East CR 6 and South SR 100. Students on the bus were transferred to another bus.
Fostoria accidents
Richard A. Ross, 36, of Missouri, was cited with improper lane change following an accident Nov. 23 at North Countyline and Elm streets.
Diane K. Baker, 65, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead following an accident Sunday evening at North Wood and West North streets.
James E. Seem, 30, of Fostoria, was cited with improper turn following an accident Tuesday morning at Ash and North Countyline streets.
Tiffin fire
Firefighters were called to 264 Second Ave. Thursday afternoon for an outdoor fire.
Firefighters were called to 260 Miami St. Thursday night for a non-injury accident.
Firefighters were called to 160 Miami St. Thursday night for an unintentional smoke detector activation.
