Edna Jean Adelsperger

Edna Jean Adelsperger, 92, of Carey, passed away Dec. 1, 2012, at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

She was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Arcadia to the late Jason and Mary (Conaway) Stacy. She graduated from Arcadia High School with additional studies at Findlay College. She married Wilbert W. Adelsperger Aug. 20, 1946, and he preceded her in death June 11, 2001.

She is survived by two sons, Michael of Carey and Mark (Jennifer Tiell) of Hilliard; a daughter, Mary Jo Sexauer of Sylvania; and four grandchildren, Sarah and Will Adelsperger, and Laura and Nick Sexauer.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Lynn and Paul.

Edna was employed for a number of years as a secretary within New Riegel Local Schools and also worked at Stacy Insurance Agency. She was a farm wife and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, traveling, baking and the occasional fishing trip.

There will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Coldren-Crates Funeral Home in Findlay.

Memorial contributions may be made to Dorcas Carey Public Library of Carey or Fairhaven Community of Upper Sandusky.
