Rebecca J. Serin, 83, of Grand Island, Fla., and formerly of Carey, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares, Fla.
She was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Berwick to Frank and Ellen (Wherle) Funk, both deceased. She was married to Richard Barth, and he is deceased. She then married Robert E. "Goat" Reamsnyder, and he is deceased. She was presently married to John Serin and he survives in Grand Island.
Also surviving are two sons, Dennis Barth of Port Clinton and Donald (Carol) Barth of Upper Sandusky; two daughters, Bonnie (Bob) McKee of Carey and June Bland of Fostoria; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a foster daughter, Beth (Jack) Book of Upper Sandusky; a brother, Frank (Joyce) Funk of Nevada; and a sister, Goldie Sowers of Adrian.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Funk, and a sister, Rosie Terry.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
