Lowell Taulbee, 73, of Bellevue, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at his home.
He was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Mountain Valley, Ky., the son of Raymond and Loretta (Clemons) Taulbee.
He is survived by his wife, Allene (Risner), whom he married Aug. 22, 1970, in Clintwood, Va.; two sons, Lowell Allen (Stacy) Taulbee of Kentucky and Greg (Sara) Montgomery of Clyde; three daughters, Raelene (Jeff) Phipps, Terry (Tim) Fidler and Tammy (Tim) Moyer, all of Bellevue; 16 grandchildren; and one brother, Darrell Taulbee of Frankfort, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Winston Taulbee.
Lowell served in the U.S. Air Force.
Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service in Bellevue. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Providence Baptist Church, 6994 Gardner Road, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.
