The Village of Green Springs Council met Monday night with Police Chief Charlie Horne reporting that there has been success at selling village items online. Charlie also reported Solid Waste Management funds are available for purchase of picnic tables.
Income Tax department head Amy Bartlett reported revenue was more than $1,000 over that of November 2011.
In old business, council accepted an ordinance requiring the cleanup of all properties where buildings have been demolished.
In new business, council moved and passed authorization for the village administrator to enter contract with the State of Ohio for consulting services regarding end-of-year review.
Verbal resignation of the custodian was accepted, with council ending in executive session.
Council is to meet at 7 p.m. Dec 17.
