Adults help to develop success in youths
Three dozen boys and girls received Youth Asset Builder awards during a luncheon celebrating youths Wednesday. Considering the developmental assets that help young people grow to be healthy, caring and responsible adults, we also want to give a tip of the cap to the parents, teachers, coaches and other mentors who are helping these 36 youngsters become assets to their community.
Indeed, some of these folks also were honored Wednesday - Brandon Aydt, Kim Bonnell, Paul Jones, Nikki Reineke, Sandy Reinhart, Jean Snyder and Donald Swartz. Hats off to them and the unsung others who assist in the development of our youth.
