The Advertiser-Tribune

The current version of the GED test, known as the 2002 Series, is to expire at the end of 2013 and be replaced with the new 2014 GED test beginning Jan. 2, 2014.

People who have taken the 2002 Series test, but not passed all five parts, have until the end of 2013 to pass or they must start over in 2014 with the new GED test to receive their high school credential. Deadline to register to complete testing is Aug. 9, 2013.

Interested test-takers can find more information by contacting one of three learning centers: Tiffin, (419) 448-1212, ext. 3245; Fremont, (419) 334-6901, ext. 4701; or Oak Harbor, (419) 898-3688.

For more information contact Lynne Barth at (419) 334-6901, ext. 2703.
