The Board of Election conducted a post-election audit Tuesday morning, with no changes to the election results.

For each federal election, the board is to hand count 5 percent of the ballots cast in Seneca County. The board counted 1,281 of the county's 25,609 ballots.

The audit is done to verify the official election results.

In the presidential election, Republican candidate Mitt Romney defeated President Barack Obama, a Democrat, by an official vote count of 13,243-11,353 in Seneca County.
