Merchandise is seen in the front window of Ro Ro Design.
Ro Ro Design, at 164 S. Washington St., opened Nov. 21. Owner Rochelle Slosser said the store offers vintage designer jewelry, ornaments, candles and other items.
The pieces, she said, are "artistic, very different" items, offering shoppers a unique collection to experience.
Ro Ro has "a really different feel," Slosser said, and is an "artistic outlet" for designers and customers.
The jewelry offered at Ro Ro, she said, features collections from four designers, offering a variety of looks for the unique tastes of each customer. The focus of the store, she said, is "style and art," and Slosser said Ro Ro's pieces are priced at an "accessible" level.
Slosser said she grew up in Tiffin and attended college at Bowling Green State University, earning a degree in fine art/graphic design. She previously worked for the Toledo Museum of Art, and is excited to "get a presence in the community" with the opening of the store.
Before Ro Ro Design opened in downtown Tiffin, Slosser offered graphic design and photography services through her company, Ro Ro Design and Photography LLC. She said her photography and graphic design services still are available and opening the store was an additional venue for her celebration of art, allowing her and the designers an avenue to use "all our creativity."
The store is open 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and noon-3 p.m. Sunday. There also is a Facebook page, Ro Ro Design and Photography LLC, where samples of Slosser's photography and items at the store can be seen, she said.
Slosser said appointments are available for customers who need additional information, or want to see more of her work for event planning or business needs.
Slosser can be reached at (419) 618-3052.
