A 600-block West Fremont Street man reported early Tuesday morning a person tried to enter the residence through the front door. The man hit the person with a metal pipe and they left. The man was unable to give a description of the person or their direction of travel.
A woman went to the station Tuesday morning to report she was beaten up by her boyfriend over the weekend.
