Elizabeth A. "Liz" Zeyen, 81, of Fostoria, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.
She was born June 4, 1931, in Fremont to the late Wilson and Lucy (Widman) Park. She married Richard L. Zeyen Jr. Nov. 24, 1955, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and he survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are four children, Richard (Diane) Zeyen III of Findlay, Beth (Phillip) Downey II of Sandusky, Amy (Scott) Kuhlman of Findlay and Adam (Holly) Zeyen of Vandalia; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jane Redding of Toledo; and three brothers, William (Joan) Park of Parma, Robert (Dianne) Park of Fostoria and John "Jack" (Harry) Park of Toledo.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Nick and Andy Zeyen; a sister, Carol Park; and two brothers, Dick and Jim Park.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will begin at 3:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where a rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Wendelin Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Wendelin School Educational Foundation, the residents activity fund at Good Shepherd Home or a charity of the donor's choice.
