UPPER SANDUSKY - Upper Sandusky sputtered through a 10-of-33 shooting night Friday in a 42-31 North Central Conference loss to Ontario.

The Rams (0-2, 0-1 NCC) only trailed 21-18 at halftime and were tied at 26 after the third quarter, but the Warriors (4-1, 2-0) pulled away from there.

Joe Reile's 11 points topped Upper Sandusky, and Trent Howard added eight points and five rebounds.

Bucks can't catch Colonel Crawford

NEW WASHINGTON - The first half gave Colonel Crawford enough cushion and two Eagles combined for 27 points Friday in a 50-43 North Central Conference win over Buckeye Central.

The Eagles (3-1, 1-0 NCC) raced past Buckeye Central 15-7 in the second quarter to take a 29-17 advantage into halftime.

Connor McCreary tossed in 16 points for Colonel Crawford and Spencer Tackett netted 11.

Austin Wurm's 17 points and 10 rebounds sparked the Bucks (2-3, 0-1). Dustin Snyder added 13 points and Stone Wurm scored nine.
