Republic council lacks quorum

December 18, 2012
By Bonnie Daniel - Correspondent , The Advertiser-Tribune

Lacking a quorum for its Monday meeting, Republic council members asked ailing councilwoman Deb Bogart to attend long enough to take several votes.

After she arrived, minutes and paying council's bills were approved.

Fiscal Officer Monique Delaney obtained council's approval for a supplemental appropriation for the village postal box.

Mayor Bruce Lambert abruptly called for the meeting to be adjourned without further business.

The next meeting is 6:30 p.m. Jan. 2.
