United Way fundraiser planned at Eagles club
Allie and the Rockers is to play for a United Way fundraiser Saturday night at the Tiffin Eagles, 68 Riverside Drive Free food is to be served starting at 6 p.m.
Proceeds from a 50/50 drawing are to go to the United Way. A "cheesy Christmas sweater" contest is planned to award prizes for the worst sweater.
TSO tickets remain
Tickets are still available for "Happy Holidays with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at The Ritz Theatre.

Local singing duo
selling Christmas CD
Kevin Maiberger and Yvonne Ehrenfried of Tiffin have recorded a CD called "Christmas Presence." Proceeds from the CD sales are to be divided between Calvert Catholic Schools and Seneca County Toys for Tots/Salvation Army Toy drive.
The CD can be purchased in Tiffin at Paulette's, Threads, Tiffin Hardware, The Cross, St. Francis Gift Shop, Varsity Barber Shop, Phat Cakes, St. Mary and St. Joseph parish offices, Calvert High School and Calvert Elementary.
Sleigh rides offered
FREMONT - The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center is offering horse-drawn sleigh rides in Spiegel Grove 1-4 p.m. Dec. 26-30. The cost is $3.

Christmas tale staged
SANDUSKY - "A Christmas Story" is to be staged at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday at the Sandusky State Theatre, 107 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
In this 1940s-era comedy, Ralphie has to convince his parents, teachers and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun really is the perfect gift for him.
Show-only tickets are $18-$21 for adults and $12 for students. The dinner and show package is $36-$39 for adults and $30 for students.
