A tip of the cap to all the students, service clubs, organizations and individuals for their gifts of time, food, money or in-kind donations to make the season brighter for the less fortunate. Please know your efforts will make a difference in their lives.

Hats off to First Alert and 1-800-BoardUp for donating smoke detectors for residents of the seneca East school district, and to those involved in collecting and distributing these potentially life-saving alarms. They will provide added security for the recipients; let us hope that is all they need to do.
