Virginia Marie Ferguson, 89, of Findlay, died at 11:01 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born May 2, 1923, in Jerry City, Harry Lee and Zora Ilene (Frederick) Cleveland. She married Ernest Ray Ferguson Jr. May 2, 1942, and he preceded her in death.
Virginia is survived by her three sons, Terry A. (Connie), Dennis L. (Beth) and Thomas R. Ferguson, all of Findlay; her daughter, Patricia A. Ferguson of Findlay; her brother, James Cleveland of Tiffin; her sister, Martha Feasel of Fremont; her eight grandchildren, James Ferguson, Scott Ferguson, Jeff Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Eric Ferguson, Jennifer Carrahers, Brooke Williams and Jodie Ferguson; her six great-grandchildren, Shae, Amanda, Maggie, Ian, Haley and Kaden Ferguson; and her four great-great-grandchildren, Jace Williams, Jaelyn Williams, Molly Ferguson and Lucy Ferguson.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Maxine Speaker.
Virginia was a former telephone operator. She was a member of Central Church of Christ, Findlay.
Her funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Central Church of Christ, Findlay, with Pastor Eric Ferguson officiating. A private burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
Visitation will be one hour (3-4 p.m.) prior to the funeral Wednesday at church.
