Joyce (Davis) Baker, 75, of rural Green Springs, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Bellevue Care Center.
Joyce was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Green Creek Township to Ben H. and Mamie (Kautz) Davis. She married LaMar "Barney" Baker Feb. 19, 1955, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Douglas H. (Diane Boster) of Green Springs and Bruce L.(Rita) Baker of Clyde; two grandsons; five stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Dorothy Cox of Clyde, Marian Pfeiffer of Fremont, Barbara (Don) Eberly of North Liberty, Ind., Lenore "Norie" (Jack) Harrow of North Canton, Janet Hayward of Republic, Ben E. (Becky) Davis of Clyde, Thomas A. (Barb) Davis of Clyde and Diane (Richard) Deken of Twinsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, C. Jean Butz.
Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, Clyde. A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Roof Fund, to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
