Donna Jean Polyak

Donna Jean Polyak, 77, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 25, 2012, at her home.

She was born June 25, 1935, in Seneca County, to Verbin and Beda (Myers) Kistler. She married John A. Polyak and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Survivors include son, Tim (Cathy) Polyak of Tiffin; three grandchildren, twins, Kelsey and Paige, and Logan Polyak; and cousin, Dale (April) Bickel of Clyde.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mabel Kistler.

Donna graduated from Republic High School and worked at Tiffin Savings Bank and then Commercial Bank, in the loan department for more than 30 years, retiring in 1990. She was a sprint car fan for many years; going to races and following her granddaughter's racing. Donna enjoyed going to Amish country, antiques and auctions.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. today, Dec. 28, 2012, at Community United Church of Christ, Fort Seneca, with Pastor Mike Sassanella officiating. Burial will be private at a later date at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort.

Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 a.m. today at the church.
