Jimmie J. "JJ" Mattox, 51, of Findlay and formerly Fostoria, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at his residence.
He was born May 9, 1961, in Findlay, to Ronald Mattox and Barb (Patchette) Mattox. His mother survives him in Fostoria. He married Teresa Desgranges, they later divorced, and she survives him in Lebanon, Mo.
He also is survived by two sons, Josh and Justin Mattox, both of Findlay; a daughter, Amanda (Matt) Bolyard of Findlay; three sisters, Chris (Mike) Thatcher of Eustis, Fla., and Sandi Martin and Judy Mattox, both of Findlay; one brother, Ray (Sheryl) Mattox of Van Buren; one grandson; special friend, Carla Estrada of Fostoria; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert "Bob" Mattox; and a nephew.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria. His funeral will begin at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Jim Baney officiating.
