Deanna Joyce Jacoby, 73, of Sycamore, passed away at 1:01 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born July 8, 1939, in Tiffin to Arthur Noble and Helen Irene (Bish). On Feb. 1, 1958, she married George Jacoby at First Lutheran Church, Tiffin, by Dr. Janson. They divorced after 30 years and she never remarried.
Surviving are two sons, Shawn (Mary) of Pemberville and Shane (Jodi) of Tiffin; 11 grandchildren, Denver Fox, Dani Spawn, Bo and Cy Wright, Stefany, Alyssa, Jena and Zachary Jacoby, Kyle (Jenny), Wes (Kara) and Jack Jacoby; and five great-grandchildren, Shelby and Kaclee Jacoby, Allie Fox and Lukas and Ried Jacoby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband; twin daughters, Dona Lynn Chester in 1992 and Dana Lee Wright in 1998; and her sister, Beverly Bussell.
She graduated from McCutchenville High School in 1957 and attended Bliss Business College in Columbus. She loved to read and bowled for many years. She started the first Melmore Mother's Club. Her first jobs were at Woolworth's in Tiffin, the office at National Machinery, the telephone company and admissions at Mercy Hospital.
There will be no services per her request. The body was cremated.
