Frederic W. Skulina Sr., 91, of Bellevue died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at The Willows at Bellevue. He was born May 14, 1921, in Cleveland, to the late Joseph & Bertha (Hejl) Skulina. On Oct. 15, 1949, he married Edith (Cramer) Skulina at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine and she survives him in Bellevue.
He also is survived by two daughters, Judy (Doug) Picciuto of Tiffin and Mary (Greg Hochradel) Skulina of Milan, Mich.; two sons, Fred Jr. (Sue) of Findlay and Michael (Beth) of Rawson; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Betty (Joseph) Skulina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Margaret Misischia and two brothers, William and Joseph Skulina.
Friends will be received 24 and 68 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, where the rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. and a Lions Club Memorial Service will be at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Jan 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery with full military honors.
