Arthur D. Miller, 91, of Bellevue, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at his home.
He was born July 15, 1921, in Tiffin, to Aaron and Nina (Biller) Miller.
He married Betty Jane Murphy April 11, 1942, and she preceded him in death in 2007.
Mr. Miller was a World War II U.S. Army veteran serving in Europe in the 778th Tank Battalion, 11th Armored Division. He served under Gen. George S. Patton in the Battle of the Bulge.
He is survived by four daughters, Arlene (Leo) Missler, Kay (Jerry) Zieber and Peggy (Bill) Plate, all of Bellevue, and Sally (Jim) Hamilton of Perrysburg; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barnita Gerber of Bellevue and Juanita Sting of Tiffin.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Mary Miller; a great-grandson; four sisters, Lillian Smith, Naomi Warner, Lucille Shell and Helen Schaaf; and four brothers, Ralph, Albert, Aaron and Boyd Miller.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013,at Foos & Foos Funeral Service,151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
His funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Dan Howard and the Rev. Lee Weiss.
Burial will follow at Bellevue City Cemetery with military honors.
