Tiffin reports

Beth M. Young, 27, of Tiffin, was charged with forgery and theft Wednesday morning.

A first-block North Washington Street man reported Wednesday afternoon someone attempted to take his son's bicycle. He said he had video of the person trying to take it.

The theft of a prescription was reported Wednesday afternoon in the first block of Main Street.

A 100-block Hall Street man reported Wednesday afternoon items were missing from his home.

A 300-block South Monroe Street woman reported Wednesday afternoon she believed someone was in her residence. She heard someone going down her stairs and then saw a man running southbound on Monroe Street. It didn't appear anything was taken.

A gasoline drive-off was reported Wednesday afternoon at Pit Stop, 321 E. Perry St.

A first-block Parkview Drive woman reported a scam Wednesday afternoon.

A woman went to the station Wednesday night to report a wallet was stolen out of her car.

County reports

A man reported early Thursday morning an iPad was stolen from his room at Hampton Inn, 2492 S. SR 231.

A break-in was reported Thursday morning at Tri-County Vet, 4579 N. US 23.

A man went to the station Thursday afternoon to report unauthorized charges on his debit card.

Fostoria reports

A 200-block East South Street man reported Wednesday evening three people were digging a hole in his backyard. When police arrived at the residence, the people were gone.

A caller from Kroger, 126 W. High St., requested to speak to an officer Wednesday night about an earlier theft.

An 800-block Davoli Street woman reported Thursday afternoon a person under a no contact order was sending her texts. The suspect was later arrested.

Corey L. Gullatt, 30, of Findlay, was charged with influencing a witness and resisting arrest Thursday.

Paige A. Crowe, 20, of Fostoria, was charged with possession of drugs and underage drinking Thursday.

A 900-block Spruce Street man reported Thursday afternoon a GPS was stolen from his vehicle.

County accident

Norman C. Grimes, 79, of Tiffin, was cited with failure to yield after a stop following an accident Tuesday evening at South SR 100 and TR 151. He was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to 154 S. Washington St. Wednesday night for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called out Wednesday evening for an unauthorized burn in the 800 block of East Fremont Street.
