Tiffin reports

A woman reported Saturday afternoon her 12-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted at Oakley Park. It was under investigation Sunday afternoon.

A first-block North Washington Street woman reported Saturday afternoon items were taken from her vehicle.

A large fight was reported at Madison Street Tavern, 92 Madison St., early Sunday morning.

A woman was struck with a beer bottle at DP's, 129 S. Washington St., early Sunday morning. She was taken to the emergency room.

A first-block First Avenue woman reported early Sunday morning she was assaulted with a knife. It was an argument, not an assault, according to Tiffin Police Department.

A denied credit card charge was reported at DP's, 129 S. Washington St., early Sunday morning.

County reports

A man in the 2000 block of West TR 1099 reported early Saturday morning a group of people were trying to get into a residence.

State Highway Patrol requested assistance early Saturday morning with a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle stopped on North CR 29, south of TR 124.

Law enforcement investigated a property damage complaint in the 2000 block of East TR 148 Saturday evening.

A 3000-block North CR 43 resident requested a deputy Sunday afternoon for four-wheelers tearing up property.

A man reported early Sunday morning a tree was down on SR 231. A person reported early Sunday morning a tree was down in the 2000 block of North CR 11. A person reported early Sunday morning a tree was down, with power lines, on South TR 187. A person reported Sunday afternoon a tree limb was struck in the 2000 block of North CR 11.

An 8000-block South SR 53 resident requested a deputy Sunday afternoon for the theft of a PlayStation 3 from a residence.

Fostoria reports

A 400-block East Tiffin Street woman reported Saturday afternoon her house was broken into and numerous items were taken.

A 100-block West Crocker Street woman requested to speak to an officer Saturday evening about her 14-year-old son assaulting her 13-year-old daughter.

A 1000-block North Countyline Street man reported Saturday evening that when he came out of the bathroom, someone had his or her hand in his window.

A woman went to the station Saturday evening and requested to speak to an officer because she believed an adult gave her 15-year-old daughter an illegal substance.

A man and his 11-year-old son went to the station Saturday night and requested to speak with an officer about a situation at the boy's mother's house. An investigation was pending.

A 400-block McDougal Street woman reported Sunday morning her garage was broken into. It was under investigation.

A 600-block East Jackson Street man reported Sunday afternoon he had hit a person.

Tiffin accidents

Christopher A. Cooper, 35, of Tiffin, was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after an accident at South Washington and Perry streets Jan. 6.

A citation of failure to control was issued after a vehicle struck a tree at Elmer and Nelson streets Sunday morning.

Fostoria accident

The driver of a vehicle allegedly spat in the face and hair of a passenger of another vehicle involved in an incident in the 500 block of North Countyline Street early Tuesday morning. According to a report, a man then backed up his car and struck the other vehicle. The passenger had her foot outside the door as the vehicle struck the passenger door, pinning her ankle between the door and car.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to a smoke detector activation at 349 Miami St., Apt. 23, room B, Saturday evening. There was no fire, and it was unintentional.

Firefighters were called to an incident at 71 E. Market St. early Sunday morning.

Firefighters were called to assist police or other governmental agency at 491 Coe St. Sunday morning.

County fire

Green Springs firefighters were called to a fire on North SR 19 Saturday night.

Attica-Venice-Reed firefighters were called to a tree down with power lines on South TR 187 early Sunday morning.

Terry L. Zuern, 71 Oil St., pleaded no contest to operating vehicle impaired/under influence, 90 days jail, 70 days suspended, 20 days credit, six-month license suspension, Firelands for drug/alcohol assessment, six points, $638; pleaded no contest to assured clear distance, $35.

Tony L. Moore, Milan, pleaded guilty to speed, two points, $170.

Derrick J. Bordner, Kenton, pleaded no contest to telecommunications harassment, 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, not eligible for early release, no contact with victim.
