Youth Center could open Feb. 1

Seneca County commissioners briefly met Tuesday morning.

Board President Jeff Wagner said the new Youth Center is to open soon, and gave Feb. 1 as a tentative date.

The next commissioners' meeting is to be Jan. 31. The meeting scheduled for Tuesday is to be canceled due to the commissioners attending a training seminar at Seneca County fairgrounds.

In new business, the board approved:

A fund transfer of $57,190.35 to be made to the Delinquent Care and Custody Grant Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $57,190.35 for the Delinquent Care and Custody Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $16,156.83 for the General Fund for 2013.

An appropriation adjustment of $7,500 for the County Capital Projects Fund for 2013.

A supplemental appropriation of $483.54 for the Law Library Resources Board Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $5,137.07 for General Fund for 2013.

An appropriation adjustment of $5,000 within the Maintenance and Repair Fund.

A resolution appointing Holly Stacy to the WSOS Community Action Commission for a one-year term commencing Jan. 2 and expiring Dec. 31.

A resolution appointing Fred Zoeller to the unexpired term of Ben Nutter Seneca County Law Library Resources Board, term expiring Dec. 31, 2014.

A resolution authorizing Seneca County employee pay supplements and other re-appropriations through elected officials voluntary salary reductions for 2013.
