Jealea M. King, 80, of Fremont, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.
She was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Bloomville, to Clarence and Louvonda (Evans) Holt. She married Vernon King Jr., Oct. 29, 1949, in Greenup, Ky., and he survives in Fremont.
Jealea also is survived by five children, Wayne (Gladys) King, Deb (Leroy) Stratton, Terry (Karen) King, Cindy (Dale) Stout and Cheryl (Larry) Bruggeman, all of Fremont; siblings, Martha Potts of Marion, Donna Pirrung of Massillon, Calvin Holt of Galion, Firman Holt of Rossford, and Daryl Holt of Dwight, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Joe, Gerald, Don, Morris, George and Leroy Holt, Kay Hauser and Oma Holt; and a grandson, Douglas.
Visitation is 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH 43420, and 10-11 a.m., Friday at Grace Community Church prior to the service.
Her funeral is 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 25, at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Road, Fremont, OH, with the Rev. Forrest Kirchenbauer officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Clyde.
