Jane Ann Harper, 69, of Bloomville, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 30, 2013, in the emergency room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, after a sudden illness.
She was born Dec. 21, 1943, in Detroit, Mich., to Oliver and Margaret (Darm) Klafter. She married Robert E. Harper Nov. 6, 1965, in Sandusky, and he survives in Bloomville.
Other survivors include a son, John Harper of Tiffin; a daughter Tami (Christopher) Abel of Branchland, W.Va.; and three grandchildren, Amanda and Keegan Abel and Dallas Harper.
She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen; her parents; and a brother, the Rev. Oliver Klafter Jr.
Jane was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Attica, a former Sunday school teacher, Daughters of America member, and former 4-H advisor. She graduated from Sandusky High School and had attended Davis Business School, Toledo. She had worked at Seneca Tile, but her most important job was being a homemaker.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, with Pastor James Barkenquast officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.
